Brian Lee Howell

portrays each era of Elvis's career: from the 1950s to the 1970s.  When he steps into character, it's like you are watching Elvis again.  This show usually includes two or three authentic outfit changes used to depict each era, movie, special, or concert.  Souveniers are also given away during the show and there is a "Meet & Greet" after every performance.  Fans are allowed to take pictures, get autographs, and purchase special items when available.

It all begins with the Rock-N-Roll years...the 1950s!  This era includes songs that started it all for Elvis.  From That's All Right and Heartbreak Hotel, toHound Dog and Jailhouse Rock, Brian will be shaking it up.  This is by far the most rockin' set there is.  His high energy performance will keep you clapping and tapping, and leave you breathless.  From here on, you won't believe your ears.  Just listen!

Next, comes the 1960s!  This era contains several diverse songs brought forth from Elvis' studio cuts and loved movies, including the famous '68 Comeback Special, and ending with his live return to stage in 1969.  These include Are You Lonesome Tonight, It's Now Or Never, G.I. Blues, Blue Hawaii, Return To Sender, Viva Las Vegas, In The Ghetto and Don't Cry Daddy... definitely too many to name.  Brian sings every song just as Elvis did.  If performing a movie tune, he recreates each dance exactly as Elvis performed it in that movie.  This set is full of structured dances, routines, and audience interaction.  It is usually based on a movie theme, but not always.

Now, the later scene of Elvis's career...the 1970s.  This is probably the most powerfull and emotional era of his career.  It includes famous hits such as Proud Mary, Always On My Mind, Burning Love, American Trilogy, Hurt, and Suspicious Minds.  As with his appearance, Brian portrays Elvis as he was in the early seventies.  He was slim and at the height of his career.  Brian has a five octave vocal range just as Elvis had.  He does not change the key of any song he performs.  If Elvis sang it in a certain key, then that is the same key that Brian creates.  For this set, Brian's wordobe consists of puffy shirts with big collars, large flashy belts, and jumpsuits.  There are a variety of outfits that Elvis wore on stage.  If he wore it, it really had to be something!

Next to all this, Brian even includes Gospel selections in every performance.  Songs like Peace In The Valley, Take My Hand Precious Lord, Run On, Crying In The Chapel, Swing Down Sweet Chariot, and How Great Thou Art leave the audience in awe and excited for the Lord.  These songs, as well as many known others, can be heard at his Gospel Show, "He Touched Me."  More information on this show can be found by clicking on the Gospel Show link at the right of this page.

During the Christmas season, Brian also performs Christmas songs within this POML show.  Hits like Silver Bells, Silent Night, If I Get Home On Christmas Day, White Christmas, and of coarse, Blue Christmas might be included.  It won't be Christmas until you hear Brian Lee Howell sing these Christmas favorites.  More information on Brian's Christmas show can also be found by clicking on the Christmas Show link at the right of this page.

The show"Pieces of My Life" definitely has it all.  Brian Lee Howell captures the audience's attention, and holds it through the entire performance.  He has been acclaimed and honored of being Memphis' most-requested Elvis!  Show lengths vary with each request but range up to 1.5 hours.  So, if you are interested and want Elvis at your special event or venue, book our Elvis today.  Click Booking Info at the right for more information on all the shows offered.
